Cool First truck. First Dodge. Not scared to get my hands dirty.

Tomorrow I'm buying my first truck. 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 it has intake, lifted and 35' tire but has never been off roaded in the year the last owner has had it.(thank god). the truck needs a little work. It needs the plenum repair and heater core replaced. The seller is including the hughes kit for the plenum.Would it be best to do both the heater for and plenum gasket fix at the same time and possibly the kegger mod? Does the 2001 even have the problem with air restriction or turbulence in the keg? Any tips, links and knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! If you are coming from a Chevy, you will be pleasantly surprised when you start tearing apart and putting back together your Dodge.
