Default srt4 with nos

i have a nos bottle lying around and was wondering can i put it on my neon with an interchiller and what kind of horsepower gains can i get? i really dont want to stress the motor at all so what shot is good and what shot is to much? or should i just shoot it right before the throttle body.

nos is not the best thing for any motor.
It will cause stress, but in an srt-4 you could run a 75 shot no problem.
They seem to handle upgrades in preformance quite well.
Have fun. let us know what you do to it.
Any mods yet?...

Im not a big fan of NOS. You spend alot of cash for a mediocre result that lasts for seconds before you have to shell out more cash for a few more seconds. But if you must you must. Id go with a 90 shot over the 75 though. It still "should" Hold up. If it can handle a 75 shot it can handle a 90 shot in my opinion. Another thing you can do which im seeing more and more is adding a spray to your intercooler. You can spray water or even (if you can believe it) Nos as well on the intercooler for one hell of a surprising outcome.

i wanted to add a 50shot for the street and a 75 shot for the track. will it be easier to put dry nos meaning making a hole in the intake right before the throttle. will this help.

It will help but the nos is not evenly spread to each injector(EFI) like wet systems (direct port).
Dry does work (35-75hp) however wet is better for more power (100-900hp)
If you want to use it all the time go for a turbo upgrade instead.
That would be cheaper in the long run for extended use.
lots of $$$ to fill every week.

I would go w/nos trough the interchiller then you won't have to worry about the added cylinder pressure. You'll just get a cooler air/fuel charge.
As for the hosre power gain you'll have to find someone whose dyno'ed a car with a nos interchiller to find out what to exppect

i just gave out another stage 3 upgrade. this fella is already going 12.8 with simple bolt on's using the stage 2 kit. with this turbo upgrade, it should fly. these things are pretty well engineered and come with all the good stuff.

I had an 04 SRT-4...Just downpipe, stage 1, mopar exhaust, k&n intake, hallman boost controller at 20-22lbs, and an 80 shot...I went 12.26 at 119.3MPH with a 1.97 60' on BFG drag radials. I ran at least 10-15 bottles thorugh it NO Problems and using only 93 pump gas.

USE THE JUICE...you don't know what you are missing!!!!! ***INSTANT BOOST!*** I can't explain it.

I plumbed in a wet kit nozzle just before the tbody.

DO IT! I have! A M A Z I N G. This is EXPERIENCE talking...trust me.

i agree with nosfed345... but first learn what your doing and how you use it correctly then begin your set up.

run a wet system and you will tap it in to your cold side intercooler pipe right before your throttle body. make sure you upgrade your fuel and if i were you id get a wideband to keep tabs on your a/f ratios.

first off, do not put a dry setup on a forced induction car. That's like asking for a blown motor. NOS is always hard on an engine. While it may be able to handle a 75shot I'd never go beyond 50 on a stock motor, because what you're looking to lose with the bigger shot is engine life. It will not last as long.
