My friend shot me in the back with his fully auto pellet gun, well the initial shot was to the thigh, I was running after the first one. I had welts on my back. I thought he was kidding when he said he was going to shoot. No I didn't need revenge, his mom saw it happen. [sm=smiley36.gif]

A pellet gun is very different than a bullet, short of getting hit in the eye or temple or any other soft area you will heal and live. I have personally had to shoot someone (it was him or me, short story), Guns are a tool or a sport they are not toys. I personally own quite a few, mostly hand guns.

I want this!! Deset Eagle .50 I fired one once......OMG......that was far and away the most powerful gun I have ever fired. As far as assault weapons go, my opinion on the subject is why ban assault weapons? If there were a rash of screwdriver stabbings, how many left wings cry babies would be out there trying to shut Craftsman down? Guns are tools, just like anything else. If used preoperly and safely, there is very minimal danger. Hey, the 3 softball bats I carry in my trunk can kill someone too. I have never shot at anyone, but was with my dad when he did. I have had a gun pulled on me twice by police on stakeouts though, once it was put to the back of my head. Nothing like the feeling of a 9mm barrel on your noggin to put things in perspective!!

Desert Eagle is nice but in my opinion it's quite useless. You need both hands to operate it and there is nothing that you could possibly shoots that would require the stopping power of the Desert Eagle.
I think .45 is overkill but more practical. Plus I'd kill for a .45 1911.

I agree that a .50 is overkill, but you never know when a rhino hopped up on smack will break into your house!!!![sm=smiley36.gif] I wouldn't call it useless though. I have big enough hands that I can fire it with one hand, but I don't think I could hit anything farther than 10 feet away. It is also extremely heavy, I beleive it's 70oz. unloaded. The one I fired was magna-ported, but it still kicked like a drunken donkey. it is a very intimidating gun. My wife has an S&W .38 snub nose with a shaved hammer and no beaver tail, great peice for a woman, there isn't anything to snag on if it's in her purse. it is easily concealable and has enough stopping power to let her get away from trouble. The only thing stopping me from getting the .50 is the price. It's a little hard to justify spending $1300 for a gun.

You know you are right. Since Rhinos on crack are common in Colorado. LMAO!!!
There was a sale going on out here for custom Desert Eagles for $800. They were damn nice too. But for hand guns I'm gonna get a Glock 26 and a Glock .45. That is when I have some extra money. I'd like to buy a shotgun first.

RE: Assault Weapons
You can pick up a Mossberg 88 short barrel 12 guage for about $225 new, at any gun shop down here....
