RE: Need to lose weight fast
Low/no carb will drop pounds fast, but once you go off of it, they will come back.....

Run/walk everyday. Wear sweats. Eat extremely healthy. And eat three meals a day. If you only eat one meal, then that meal is huge. Small portions, and eat slowly. Why do you need to lose weight so fast?
Well for a few personalreasons. I use to weigh around 220-250, but never any higher. Went to the dr the other day and I'm up to 270, so I need to drop some weight before I go back and see him in 2 weeks. He recommended that I should lose about 10-20lbs before my next visit.
No its basicaly for my health. The doctor I have been seeing for the last 10yrs or so said I needed to loose some weight to bring down my blood pressure/Cholestoral levels and expects me to drop between 10-20lbs between now and about 2 weeks from now when I need to go back inand even lower after that.
Stop eating. Drink water. Work out a lot (both weights and cardio). Take vitamins. Then the last couple days drink less water.
Yes, you'll lose some muscle too, but you'll lose a lot more fat.
You cannot lose 20 lbs short of starving yourself - you need to burn 49,000 calories more than you eat to lose 20 lbs.
The good news is after 2 days of not eating, you won't feel hungry anymore - and no, i'm not kidding. Look it up, your brain adapts.
If it was absolutely essential to lose 20 lbs in 2 weeks thats what i'd do. But a better way to do it would be to still eat about 1000 calories a day of pure protein (absolutely no carbs) and work out at least 2x a day- thats a better way, but you're not going to lose as much weight, but you'll lose less muscle.
Neither one of these methods is sustainable if you go back to your old diet though. You're just going to put the weight back on.
What kind of doctor would actually reccomend losing even 10 lbs in 2 weeks?
