I blew $1000 on a new camera (body only, no lens) that probably would take me to divorce court but I did it the smart way because I bought my wife a $200 digital camera at the same time.
That's not that bad, at the time I got my camera, the body alon was 1300... I got the body and a 28-135 IS lens for 1599
