I think this is a good idea. If I was good at car repair, I would do this. But if you are good at it and you can take special american cars to good condition than I would try to sell them in Hungary. I know this is complicated enough, but this is only an idea as well.

I say try and find you a fixerupper and seewhat happens. If all goes well and you sell the car then go find another. Its chancey but I'll never fault a guy who is trying to make a honest living. GO FOR IT!
