There's a seasoned citizen in Peoria with a 1980 Chrysler New Yorker 5th Avenue for $1400. It has 86k miles. The one car I kick myself for getting rid of is my 81 5th Avenue. It was chocolate brown with leather interior and moonroof. This is the same car but it is beige with beige leather. The gentleman states it runs perfect-except the a/c is inop. I am torn. Do I buy the new Charger I've been jonesing for or pick up one of the last modern classics Chryco made? I am thinking that I may want to avoid car payments and buy this beautiful older car and just keep it up like new until I'm wearing Depends. IMO the 79-82 5th Ave and Imperials were the classiest modern cars Chryco made. Although, the 94-98 LHS was a magnificent car.
