Yesterday I drove the 90 miles to Tucson to purchase some coral and a beautiful flame angelfish. On the way back, when I reached the town of Sierra Vista with the top down and 87F, feeling fine. I took off from the light and just as I was about through the intersection, my wife screamed, "He's not stopping". A silver 04 Ram 1500 4x4 came flying from the right-no braking. I was hit by him at 35-40, according to the cops. If I didn't have my seatbelt on, I would've been ejected from the car. My wife got her right elbow crunched and I got my ribs and left arm beat up pretty bad. Since the engine of the Ram was shoved into the firewall, I'm assuming it's toast, as well. Turns out a 16 or 17 y/o kid took his dad's truck for a spin while he was out of town. Now my Beautiful little car is probably on it's way to salvage yard h@ll. At first he said he had the green light, but eventually told the truth when 3 witnesses on the sidewalk called b@llspit.

Yeah, we're pretty sore. My neck is hurting pretty bad today, as well. I guess it was the sideways whiplash. I had just filled the tank of gas, too. When I go to get my stuff out of it tomorrow, I'm going to siphon the gas out. I sold the 03 Neon to my son, so I'm gonna be driving the 98 Ram for a while.

I'll have to get them tomorrow. The wreck was at 6:00 pm and I got out of the hospital at 11:30 pm. The wrecking yard doesn't open until tomorrow-that's when I'm going to get my stuff out of it.

glad to hear you and the wife are OK, its a shame it happened but the most important things (you and your wife) came out of it mostly unharmed and thats what matters most the car can be replaced, you or your wife could NOT

Glad your ok.
Wonder how cool the kid felt after that happened. Probably picking up all kinds of ass with a smashed up truck...
