Columbus cops are pretty nice and they don't bother too much if you pass them. They have much much bigger issues than a person going 5-7mph over the speed limits. But only time I pass them is when I know i'm going 70mph and their going atleast 60-65 and two lanes over.

I'll pass a cop any day of the week. Most ride at or under the speed limit on purpose....I've even paced a cop car in the high speed lane several times....
The point here is to be smart....in many of my cases, the minute i could get out of the cops way, I did..... in others, I was moving 1-2mph over the limit with the flow of traffic. If the cop wants to pace at 54mph, it's not my problem, because the speed limit is 55...

Yup.
Down here in South Florida the cops really don't care unless they have a speed trap set up. Unless you're doing something REALLY stupid, most of them could care less, mostly because they're doing worse things than you are. Not to mention with all the illegal drivers and old people, you REALLY REALLY have to be doing something stupid to stand out.
Troopers are a different story though. Their job is to issue traffic citations.
I get behind them and stay way the hell back in pa. The other week I saw a PA trooper on a bike. I didn't know they still used bikes!!!
Pa has bikes? I have yet to cross the path of one... Thats cool maybe they are bringing them back, Its a good thing

I hate cops that pace slower than the actual limit. It usually makes traffic a cluster**** because everyones scared to pass one. I usually Keep less then 10 mph over and I feel thats good enough.
This past weekend I had a NJ follow me while I was passing someone and no lights

Its weird NJ State Police are usually very strict..but the past two times ive gone past ive gotten nothing...
90 in a 65 right in front of a trooper..(I was shaking)
65 in a 15 (coming off the ramp, everyones starting to slow but i knew he was there to ticket)
Also I got pulled over in Northfield...47 in a 35 =P, violating city noise ordinances? WTF driving without a license and only got a warning Woot!
