Life is about to change forever. I'm getting married in just over 5 hours (1:00 EST). Guys, it's been nice nowing you all.
Talk about jitters, I thought I'd be fine, but last night during the rehersal it was all I could do to keep myself from shaking. No idea what the real thing will be like today, and I'm scared to death. It's a big commitment, and it's a life long one. I'm one of those guys that doesn't really believe in divorce, so if I make a mess of things, I get to live with the consequences for the rest of my life, and all these questions keep running through my head. Is it the right time? Are we doing this too soon? Am I ready to be a husband instead of a foot-loose bachelor? Will I make her happy the way she deserves? Are there enough chairs? Did the flowers die in the frost last night (outdoor wedding)? Why the hell is the cake topper of a red head and a black dude when I'm clearly as pale as they come? Just kidding on the last one, although the topper looks nothing like us, but her baby sister picked it out and you can't argue with the cuteness.
Anyway, I felt the need to vent and get some of this junk off my chest. I'm sure everything will turn out fine, I've been told that these concernes are normal, and I should be worried if I didn't have them. I'll upload picks from the wedding when I get back from the brief honeymoon. Wish me luck guys, now it's off to detail the Dak for the big day!
