Default Stupid Advertisements on the Web!

The ones I speak of are the "Hit this to win this" advertisements. They are getting to be annoying, and stupid, and ridiculous. I just got off this website where it said, "Kiss Brad Pitt and win this designer bag" ,and there was this mouth following a picture of Brad Pitt, and he was running away. They are practically everywhere I go on the net, and for some reason a lot of them involve Brad Pitt. Then there are the funny ones. "Spank this to win a Playstation2" and it shows a picture of a kid with his pants down and his butt is revealed and you spank him with a paddle and evertime you spank him, he starts to cry. Then, "Shoot the celebrities to win a pair of sunglasses" and there's different celebs running and your this big huge guy shooting them down. Anyways, funny or not, they are annoying!

Yeah, web advertisements get more and more lame each day. Especially the one's that you have no control over and follow you everywhere on the page. Same with the one's that flash consistently and give you seizures. I'm glad DF offers good advertisements with no popup garbage =)

Yes, DF is a nice place without the stupid mumbo jumbo you would see on other sites.

LOL I know all those little ads by heart. I do like the "Knock out President Bush and win an XBOX 360"

The advertisements are nearly as irritating as the spam emails. I get 30-50 a day. The only good thing about it is that they are easy to spot.

That's why I run Firefox with the adblock and flashblock plugins. It's amazing how much nicer the browsing experience is this way.

Same here, only a few a week. AOL does a pretty good job of knocking them off, same with Yahoo. Hotmail does horrible with their spam blocking though, so I dropped that account.
