Vince Young accounted for almost 85% of the total offense of the Longhorns....this guy is for REAL....
He played a top notch easily #1, #2 defense in the country....and threw for like 350 yards.....this guy has proven himself...
As for the him not being good enough to play in the NFL???? C'mon...lemme think.....McNabb, McNair, Leftwich, Vick, etc etc etc....these guys all had the same knocks....

I've got 2 problems with what you are saying.
#1: The quarterback will always have more yards than anybody, because they get credit for any reception and teams usually have more passing yards than rushing yards. Whether it's a 60 yard bomb, or a screen play that goes for 60, the quarterback's stats will refleck it. So, it's not a big surprise for the quarterback to account for most of the team's offensive yards.
#2: I am 99% sure he threw for 270, not 350. Maybe if you include the rushing yards he racked on the first 2 series of the game, then you can come up with 350. He had monster yards in the first two series, but then went for something like 14 carries/17 yards. I thought he was supposed to be a great runner, and totally elusive? NOT.
Anyway, yes he's a very good quarterback. But in my opinion he is not Heisman material. The Heisman winner is supposed to be the best football player in all of the NCAA. The way the system works anymore it seems they forget that particular feature in the voting. Vince made a few horrible decisions, and lucky for him the Buckeye offense is in turmoil because of the quarterback situation. Otherwise, OSU should have had about 35-40 points, and easily won that game.
You can't figure leadership qualities into the Heisman voting, or whether he will make a good NFL QB. Craig Krenzel lead the Buckeyes to the 2002 championship, and he had mediocre statistics. But, his intelligence and leadership made him the MVP of the season, and the title game. Yet, he was never considered a Heisman candidate. As far as Vince is concerned, he his a hell of a leader, and that's why Texas won.

the fact is that he IS heisman material...and he is also fine curse material...
McNabb, McNair, Leftwich, Vick, (you forgot Culpepper)....all bums...the closest thing to a real QB there is McNabb...leftwich played in the mac and is a joke...vick isnt a qb now, and he wasnt then..hes a running back who woudl rather take the snap himself...they give cutesy names to cover for their lack of QB ability for the last four listed, but what they should call it is "scramble and panic, and it all else fails, throw the ball" offense...these losers are not scrambling QBs, theyre RBs...steve young was a scrambling QB...randall cunningham was a scramble QB...these are "option qbs"...and option QBs are crap...
did anyone see culpeppers fantasy numbers from this week? zero points...this guy is a joke, and he always has been, but before he had randy moss to cover for him...
mcnair has hidden his lack of success in a thick cloud of injuries...
McNabb just seems to be on a team of born losers, and fielding a backfield of nobodies dosnt bode well for your passing game, and neither does signing TO, and 4 guys that no one has ever heard of...instead of getting a bunch of mediocre players, they got a couple superstars and filled the rest of the roster with BUMS.
and vick and leftwich havent really had a chance to prove their inability, but vick couldnt pass his way over fairly poor defenses in college, and that hasnt seemed to change much
and dont start in with the "well vick had 209yds versus the whevers"...there were also a few games were vick had numbers like 3-19 for 22 yards, 4 ints and 3 fumbles...no "real deal" has ever put up numbers like those, except maybe in midget ball.
