Default 440 Interceptor

Not that I am selling them at the moment, but I have 3 440 Interceptors still in the 1972 Police cars that they were originally installed. What do I have here and what are they worth? The Tranny'sare 720 or something like that. 2 of the 3 move freely and 1 appears to be seized. Email me at Deerjrky@yahoo.com

Well, I got $200. for my 440... the whole car, and he drove it home. Almost new dual exhaust, but the engine needed a rebuild... low compression.

Wow $200 for a running 440. I go to to the mopar nationalsin columbus (largest mopar show andswap meet in the world)and can tell you a running 440 in good condition without intake, carb, trans will go for $900 easy. If you have a complete 440 with trans sell it for $1100 minimum, if it turns by hand someone will pay that much. List it on ebay, if you dont get what you want, load it up and come to the nationals in columbus ohio you will get at least $1100 for them without being in the cars. Bring the complete car and you will get good money. My uncle has been dealing and trading mopar parts for 20 years the guys he knows and deals with sell 440 next to never, they are gold in the mopar world.

Sorry to the guys I just screwed out of a great deal but somebody had to tell him the truth!

That;'s because you are at the Nationals - EVERYTHING gets its price jacked up there until the last day.
