Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Have you checked the timing? how many miles are on the motor? Almost sounds like a distributor or vacuum problem. Check all your vacuum lines, you may have a pinhole in one that only shows when warm. Good luck, it sure sucks when a problem is hard to diagnose.

How about vapor lock? Try to insulate or move your fuel lines, hot summertime weather may be playing games with you! LOL!

You might think about checking your ignition system. There could be a bad capasitor and or resistor. I ran this by a mechanic friend of mine and that is what he thought of too.

i changed my ignition module and still having problems.now its starting to die right when i put it in gear.when i finally get it going if i give it to much gas it just dies. now it doesnt even hafto warm up.could a bad alternator cause any of these problems or maybe even a bad fuel pump?

Next time it dies, immediately check for fuel flow from the carb and spark at the plugs and go from there.

That sounds like a timing issue, particularly since you just changed the modules.
