Default help 89 ramcharger idle

i just finished a full rebuild on my 318 in my ram 2wd it starts but idles at about 1800 witch i know is way too high but if i mess with the timing it crankes way too hard its tbi and it never gave me this issue before

throttle linkage sticking or holding open..
ck for a vacuum leak.. try spray trick on suspected leak areas
if applicable EGR- be sure pintel is seated- not open at idle -

1989? memory is not so good is this an idle motor big and boxy or the IAC air bleed type @ size of 35mm film canister? be sure throttls plates are closing
