Default blinker problem

just had a shelby 318 put into my 85 ramcharger now when i turn on the headlights the blinkers just stay on they dont blink what am i missing here

Do they blink normally when the headlights are off?
Check all your gound straps.
You should have one from the negative battery terminal to the body, one from the battery to the motor, and one from the motor to the fire wall.
Also, do your hazzard flashers work?
If they don't, you might investigate further.

yes they do and hazards work right one blinks when lights are on only left one dont

Did you check all your signal bulbs? Fuses? Fuse block to harness connection?

Are there any wires pinched from the replacement of the engine?

dont look like they are replaced all bulbs and the fuses

are all your ground wires good and tight.
I had a car once that I learned that lesson on.
When I turned on the left turn signal the dash lights would blink, right one, the buzzer would go off. When I honked the horn, everything would turn on.
Unfortunately I don't know what else to tell you.
