my car is not a show car. it's not meant to be all pretty. it's a race car. it's desgined to hit the track, which is where she spends most of her time. it's done a best of 11.5@121, and there's more left in her since i've done more work since then.

A little about the 1972 Dodge Demon 340.

It is a 1972 Dodge Demon 340 with a 1971 Demon grille and custom hood (1970 Challenger T/A style). The motor is a 340 with a set of stock 1973 340 heads, 509 mopar cam, stock bottom end, LD340, 750 Holley, Hooker Super Comps through Flowmaster 40s with full 3" exhaust. 3000 stall, 3.23 gears. The car ran 13.50s and got around 16 mpg coming back from the Mopar Nationals. The car is daily driven in the warmer months...that huge trunk makes for great grocery getting...

Fiberglass front fenders, inner fenders, and hood. Rear battery conversion. Front disc brakes, front and rear sway bars with KYB gas-a-justs.

For the record, I do have the correct year and type of gas cap, but i didnt think about it when i took the pictures, and left the security cap on there...here is a picture with the right cap
