leveling kit problems? 2 inch
I red on another forum (*********) that people installed leveling kit on their 4x4 ram and have had their kits in for awhile (5K+) experienced some premature wear on front end components? Just want to hear from the group if this post i read is true or not? I have a 2016, 2500 4x4 hemi and i would like to hear from the forum before i pull the trigger on a leveling kit and body kit.

Leveling kits in general put additional stress on front end components due to changing the factory driveline angles. It's not a matter of if, but when something will fail. Tie rods, ball joints, CV axles, etc.

This goes back to the old "if you wanna play, you gotta pay". These modern front ends have so many more parts working together and designed to be at proper angles that even minor changes will cause problems.
I had 4.5" of lift on my old 3rd gen and replaced front end components (ball joints, tie rod ends, CV joints, etc.) at about half the miles you'd expect from a stock front end...

I agree that you definitely get what you pay for. Although as far as longevity goes, I have bilstein 5100s on my truck set to the highest setting 2.8" and my truck sits perfectly level. I installed them about 5 years ago on my 2010. I have put about 60,000 miles on them and all parts are still showing normal wear. I just recently hit 100,000 miles on my truck and I went through and checked everything. Suspension and drive line components were on that list. CV joints and everything looked just fine. This is just my experience though.

i installed a 2” pro comp level kit (spacers) but i noticed that the truck isn’t level. Any suggestions on why it’s not? I want the truck completely level or as close as possible. But i feel 1” os to fat off. I had a 2500 hemi and used the same kit and it was level. Please help. Want can i do to get it level??
