Hi! I'm a newbie with a radio issue
So I just bought this 96 Dodge Ram B2500 van from a friend and it needs a bit of love and one of the things I couldn't get working was the radio. The factory one doesn't work but neither does this aftermarket one I have. I made sure the harness on the radio was wired correctly and I replaced the blown fuse but still no power to the radio. Any recommendations? I think the guy that owned it prior to me had an amp hooked up at one point but I don't know if that would affect what's going on with it now. Any help would be appreciated

I am not sure. It doesn't say what it is. I know the model number is P04858500 if that helps. I can't get any radio to work in the van which is why I'm starting to wonder if it's an issue with the wire harness

purchase a cheap VOM meter from a hardware store or Harbor Freight for less than $10. Use it to probe wire connections to find out which are supplying 12V. You must have the right tool... you cannot work with electric without a meter. You can always purchase small fuse "extenders", which will push into your fuse box and give you a spot to connect a new wire to an existing fuse to provide power to any radio. Try to enlist a friend's help that can teach you something about how to use a meter and work with electricity. If you are near Cincinnati PM me and I will help
