Default 1994 Dodge 350 van

I want to get the trouble codes for a 1994 Dodge 350 van. Engine light goes on, but if I restart engine, it goes off. Engine stops and restarts intermittent. Thanks

I don't think the 94 model had an engine computer yet... looks like they started around 96, BUT all things electrical need good grounds and as old as that van is I would start looking at cleaning up rusted and corroded connections, starting with any/all connectors hooked to sheet metal which provide a ground return path for any electric in the vehicle. ALSO look at connectors to battery and alternator... pull apart, squirt some contact cleaner on it, burnish if corroded and replug... do this with neg battery disconnected

when engine quits does it just DIE, or stumble and die out?

does it quickly and easily restart?
