Default Power lock problems

Hi. I'm new to posting here but have came here from various Google searches for problems with my truck. Today my power locks stopped working. Both sides. From both switches neither door will lock but will unlock no problem. I pulled the fuse and it was fine. When I read installed it they locked once then unlocked and won't lock again. What would cause this? They were just working earlier this morning. Now they wont.

Do you hear the motors run when you try and lock them?

Try pressing down on the switch as you are pulling it back to lock the doors, make any difference?

If you can, grab a test light or a multi meter, and test your switches. Just take the panel out of the door, but don't unplug the wiring harness. Test me right there. When you test, you should have all time power in the center pole on the back of the switch, then test unlock, and you should se power come out of one of the other 4 poles. Then test lock, and you should see power come from the opposites diagonal pole from the unlock. When you do this, test all the poles, and if you have power comeing from unlock & lock, on lock, replace the switch. And vise versa. *Do this on both the driver and passages switches*

My problem was that my passenger switch gave power on unckock to both lock and unlock poles, and screwed up my system. It would make it not function at all. I got a switch from the junkyard and it's working great now.
