Default Replacement molded carpet

My 2007 Dakota Sl Extended cab 6 speed 2WD has a worn out carpet. Looked at OEM way to much $.

After market MOLDED carpets seem to stop at 2004.

I need measurements to see if I can make the molded carpet for the 2004 fit in the 2007.
Thinking? the pan molding is different enough to foil the project?

Can the 1997-2004 Dodge Dakota - Extended Cab Carpet, 5 Speed, 2wd FIT the 2007 Dodge Dakota - Extended Cab Carpet, 6 Speed, 2wd ???????????

Think the 3rd gen is a bigger cab.
The 2005 Dodge Dakota was 3.7 inches longer and 2.7 inches wider than the 2004

Thanks for the reply.

I don't why the aftermarket providers of carpet stop at the 2nd gen unless there is a copyright or patent that hasn't run out yet.

Lack of demand more than likely.

There are aftermarket carpets available, some stop at 06 (same as 07), but they are out there.

Just a few below:

Not sure how well they actually will fit though.

Entering 2006 instead of 2007 info for the extended ST cab shows a fit, changing to 2007 both show a "no go". I think I am going to order a 2006 carpet and see how good bad it fits and return even if it cost the shipping.

I am in the same situation. Were you able to cut down the quad cab and make it fit?

I got side tracked for a bit of time but thinking about pulling the trigger on one of the Stock Interior carpets sometime after the holidays. I'll post when I try it.
