Default Engine Swapped - orphaned connectors!

Well we finally completed swapping in a rebuilt 4.7 for the seized one and it started first try! This was our first engine install and I bet we put that thing in and out 15 times before we figured out how to get it to set right and mount to the transmission. Thanks again to Magnethead for his tips.

Now we have it running (idles a bit high) and it drives (needs brakes) but we have a couple of orphaned connectors under the hood I was hoping someone could identify for us. One you'll see is up by the main fuse box and the other either hangs down under the driver side by the wheel or comes up by the battery. It looks clean like it was used before.

This has been a fun project with my 16 yo who is going to be the primary driver. It's a 2001. Thanks for any help you can provide!

One with the orange gasket is for fog light. Green gasket is for the RWAL ABS module or an EVAP component (I forget which).

Hey thanks magnethead I did not see a matching connector on the bumper (which is off) for the foglight connector but I'll look more harder. We're messing with brakes now and I don't see anything that green thing can reach to plug into... Maybe I got lucky and we don't have RWAL?! Is there a good VIN decoder for Dodge that can show me options on this truck? Thanks again.

The 2 pin plugs directly into the fog light housing, there's no sub-harness. If it's a fog-delete bumper, the wiring is left anyways.

That 4 pin might be EVAC then.

EVAP and RWAL use similar 4 pin connector. My truck is modified, but you get the idea.

thanks, finally saw how the orange one plugs into that fog light. I was looking for something bigger for it to plug into. Used a multi-meter to see it get power when fog-light button was pulled out and the light bulb in my brain finally went on.

Thanks for those pictures magnethead I'll keep poking around for a place for that 4 pin. I do have a bunch of evap messages on OBD fusion so maybe that's it. Look for new post about head gasket...
