MIAMI (SP) -- Shortly after leading the Florida Gators to a national
championship with a 24-14 win over Oklahoma, junior quarterback Tim
Tebow announced that he would skip his senior season and ascend
directly into heaven.
Tebow entered the press room to wild applause. A reporter for a 24-
hour cable sports network burst into tears when the 2007 Heisman
winner entered the room. Another threw a pair of boxer shorts on the
podium. Tebow smiled at the gesture and several sports reporters
fainted.
"Sorry I'm late," Tebow began. "There was a six-year-old boy with
cancer in row 54 and I had to make my way through the crowd to heal
him."
"I want to start by saying that playing quarterback for the University
of Florida, winning two national championships, has been a great
honor. There has been some speculation about my future and I want to
clear that up right now," he continued.
"Don't go, Tim!" a reporter shouted from the back of the room.
"After much consideration, I have decided to skip my senior season at
the University of Florida and ascend directly into Heaven," Tebow
announced. Upon making the announcement, Tebow was bathed in a
blinding white light and vanished.
In response to the news, ESPN announced they will have a month-long
tribute to Tebow. ESPN2 will now be known as ESPN-TEBOW and will
feature Tebow highlights (including home videos of Tebow's childhood),
re-airings of past interviews, Tebow-centric analysis by ESPN air
personalities, a Tebow quiz show and a reality show to find the "most
Tebow-like" person in America.
"He wasn't just the greatest player in college football history," said
a college football writer at the press conference, tears streaming
down his face. "He might have been the greatest person to ever walk on
earth."

I didn't make that up, I did link it. You gotta admit thats one of the funniest things posted in a long time and reitterates what people outside of Florida think of him.
Bull****, many people like him outside of the state of Florida. It's jealous fans of teams that have played us, that get envious and post this exaggerated crap. Especially the mid west people, who are directly responsible for him getting 3rd in the Heisman even though he had the most 1st place votes. We're sorry we have a good QB, who has ethics, tries hard, helps others and succeeds. We're sorry he's not a thug. Yep, he's no Marcus or Michael Vick.
Get over it.
Even Bobby Bowden loves the guys...

Bowden: Heisman finalists all worthy of award

Speaking of the system quarterback who I think should ultimately win … let's talk about Tim Tebow.
Tim Tebow should become the second player to win the Heisman twice.
Although I broadcasted two of his earlier games this season and watched countless hours of game videos in my prep work, I did not fully appreciate just how special Tim Tebow is until after the SEC championship game.
Tebow is everything that you could want or imagine in a quarterback – and then some. He can throw it or run it with the best of them, and the more critical the situation the better he performs.
But the most important characteristics he possesses – and the ones that separate him from everyone else – are his competitiveness and leadership ability. He not only is the leader of the Florida offense, but he is the leader of the defense and special teams as well. He is the leader of the sideline, the cheering section and the entire Gator Nation.
I believe that in Tim Tebow we are seeing one of the truly great college quarterbacks of all time. I know that when you combine throwing ability, running ability and leadership, I have never seen one like him in my lifetime.
After Florida's fourth-quarter 31-20 come-from-behind victory over No.1 ranked Alabama in the SEC title game, Archie Manning – who Bear Bryant said was the greatest college quarterback that he'd ever seen play – said that Tebow "is one of the great football players of all time."
I will be extremely pleased to see any of the finalists win the Heisman Trophy. They are great quarterbacks.
...and we're tired of the jealousy "schtick" already...we get it...i don't see anyone saying they wouldn't want him as their QB...IN COLLEGE. We understand he's a nice guy, loves him some jebus...but to hear OVER AND OVER again "if you spend 5 minutes with baby jesus i guarantee you, you'll be a better person" is absurd. He's a ****ing verg good college QB, nothing more, nothing less. He is not a miracle worker or better than the 5 million other college kids that do well in school and go to church. He just throws a football in college too (and is afforded a few more opportunities and exposure i'm sure thousands of college kids would love to have, based on a totally unrelated talent).
I think your "jealousy" thing is making up for some inadequacy...like when you know you're going to fail, so you tell everyone they're just jealous of you beforehand when they point out you're going to fail...and then you fail. Next stage: "excuses." We'll be waiting...
How could someone use the words "fail", "excuses" and "inadequacy" with a fan of the championship team and former Heisman winning QB? You're a piece of work. Make some more stuff up.
Maybe if Pitt and Oklahoma had Tebow, they would have had better seasons.
You definitely need to read more carefully. I used the word "jealous" about fans of teams that have played us, that post stuff like this. Read the words man.
I really don't think he does care what we write. I think he skims through and makes up in his own mind what we say, so he can say something "smart" back to us.

Explanation for that:
You know the old saying: "Those who can't do, teach."
