Not all sports are meant to be non contact. If there is a parent that doesn't want their kid to play a contact sport don't let them play football, hockey, etc.

I was recently asked to help coach Middle school wrestling... My coaches all were pretty vulgar, but now days everything is so P.C. its sickening. I actually heard this at a local high school wrestling match.

squeeze his arm! squeeze his arm! NOT HIS HEAD!!! (emphasis on the head part)

The guy had a head and arm in and was trying to pin the other guy.

When I was in school and wrestling... we were screaming POP HIS HEAD OFF!!!!!!!!!

so another parent complained tonight. theyre pissed off that i was talking to the players about COD in the locker room..."i shouldnt be talking to the players about thigns like that"....

the parents truly make coaching miserable. i love the game, and i love coaching, but some of these parents make the experience terrible.

Tell that parent to "go off yourself" and see what they say to that.

Most parents/kids these days are so bitchy and whinny i cant stand it anymore.

I played a few sports throughout highschool; rugby, football and wrestling. ALL of my coaches swore, and it had a possitive effect on us. It's not like we were learning new words. My football and rugby coach, the players were too afraid to swear infront of them lol but around my wrestling coach, it was like there were no adults around. A coach does need to swear to make a good point across or to motivate its players. I cant talk behalf of swearing at other coaches or parents but i can say from an athletes perspective, there is nothing wrong with this but its helpfull.
NO coach should be fired for swearing unless the athletes are under a Highschool level grade. Than you can argue

honestly, every time i let one slip in the locker room, i hear that certain parents know about it...and thats what really bothers me. that means that there are a few players who report everything that is said in the locker room. these are kids who also dont play much.
