Not really, I still can't go out and slap a 500gb laptop drive in there. Last I checked to even do a 120gb you had to have one of a few very specific drives and the right data from the HD dump of an actual elite. Then there's making sure you won't get banned from LIVE for it. The 360 IS a computer, not allowing us to upgrade something as simple as a hard drive is just a way for them to rip us off for a bigger one. Like I said I'd have a lot less of an issue if they just priced the drives reasonably.
I'm not worried about getting it open at all, but unless I'm going to install a much better cooling solution to prevent the problem why have to deal with potentially breaking something in an attempt to fix it when I can just send it back to them and let them deal with their mistake? It's an awesome console but whoever designed that layout and cooling setup needs to be fired.
yes you need the dumps for live... and when someone posts the 250 dmp, who is going to need more than that? stream the music and movies from the pc....
no frag... remind me where to go for the netflix streaming and instant que on PSN? I cant seem to find it. oh and where is the place to go and watch movies with your friends? I cant find that either...

Couldn't tell ya, because Canada doesn't get the movie service, but the US does. Get a ps3 and check it out. It isn't netflix, but netflix isn't exactly exclusive considering anybody with a pc can have it.

I can agree with the other arguments here, I'll even agree that the failure rate is almost moot because of how the systems break and the cost of parts between the two. The PS3 really doesn't have as many features. I honestly don't know how someone who has owned both systems can say that. There are so many more different things that you can do on a 360. From Netflix, to movie parties, continuous chat through games, web cam chat, way more downloadable content, achievements for every game. The list goes on. PSN is no where near as successful as Live and numbers will tell you that. Shibby really makes some good points about PSN vs Live in his above post.
Not only does Live have Netflix but it already had and still has downloadable movies and shows for rent. Netflix only makes that feature more broad.
As for the controller... I feel that most adults, if they gave in, would like the feel of the 360 controller much better. It's design is perfect for an adults hand.
BTW, as I posted above, I was just stating my personal opinion... not arguing... as I usually do. I state why I like and feel the system is better. It never fails that someone doesn't like how I view it and says something about my post. I then return the argument.
I have used 7 different PS3's... in my own house, after I repaired them... I test them for 4 or 5 hours... and since psn is free, I sign in and download a demo to test the console out. The movie selection is crap... (in my opinion) and there are far less TV series than on live. Sure its a great value, but you get what you pay for.
The streaming video looks better on PSN though... might be the machine and not the service there though.
and netflix is a console exclusive, since thats what we are talking about here...
With every update to live, PSN just keeps falling further behind.
Can't wait for Facebook, Twitter and Last.fm coming up very soon.
See I'm not much into the who twitter thing. Really dont see the point of it. I mean its just like a mobile facebook. I mean seriously, I would maybe use it, but does anyone really care about me saying, "I just got out of the bathroom and took the biggest crap ever recorded in my life!"
Well maybe some people but still, its just another boring way and someone got millions for it. Now face book and the Last.FM is awesome. As long asy ou can listen to music while your playing your games on XBOX Live with other people iin your party.
