Graphics is a big difference from servers. Fanboys my ass. We're here to defend all consoles from the big PC fan boys. LOL

Basically sums up the anti-PC attitude I described, because it doesn't affect your system it's hilarious (and there are plenty of PC gamers that have the same attitude but against consoles, both are wrong IMO). We're not looking to be almighty we're looking to not be treated like the red-headed stepchild in any multi-platform game and have the game properly adapted to our system rather than doing a half-ass porting job. I expect a game released on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC to play well and be adapted to each one of those systems. Just as some changes need to be made from PS3 to 360 or vice versa it's the same to or from PC.

This is part of a continuing trend, you don't play games on PC so you wouldn't notice. Overall less and less attention is paid to any PC port of a game, dedicated servers are a big blow but they are part of a general lack of caring from developers. Removing the dedicated servers does affect the gameplay all around, PC on average is much more sensitive to latency and p2p is far inferior in that regard. In general a lot of games for PC lately feel like they took the xbox 360 version, slapped it in a PC box and went "here I guess you can have a version".
I'll give you an example, Borderlands was touted as a game that was going to be focused on the PC, all sorts of promises were made. I now have a game that feels like they directly ported it from the 360. Some of the menu text is not even scrollable, the menus are clearly designed for a d-pad or joystick, most of the options are not even there but have to be edited in the .ini file (and I'm talking about common video settings, not hacking the game). Not to mention they used Gamespy for their multiplayer, probably the worst setup they could have done and to get it working properly requires router configurations that haven't been needed by other PC games for years now. It's a total disregard for the audience, especially when they made as much noise about Borderlands on the PC as they did pre-release.

That's just the biggest thing. P2P has more lag. What about no more lean? That's an important part of tactical game play. We also went from 64 players max to 18 players max. No developer console. No custom mods. No custom maps. No mod tools.

You think we're bitching at you? Dude I could care less if you care or not! I don't care if consoles get a 3-D magic F-ing super feature that PC's don't! All we are saying is that we are pissed at Activision for giving us a lesser version of the game than even what we got in CoD4 and charged us 10 bucks more to boot!

I have no beef with consoles,I've owned everything that's been offered since the days of the Atari 2600. I just want a game at least as good as it's predecessor in terms of functionality. Just because the whole system for matching up players works on the consoles doesn't mean it is well suited for PC use. Just like dedicated servers and 64 player servers would probably not even function on an Xbox or PS3. Just the right tool for the job,that's all we want.
In regards to your Original post,yes for consoles MW2 might be the best game ever,for PC's it is not; It's a shame because it could have been.

Billiam we are talking about MW2,the game is made for PC and consoles,there are defects concerning the PC version. I don't want to be comparing PC's to consoles, we are talking about the merits of the game, it just happens to be the PC version that got all cut up.
