Im by no means liberal, nor do i have many views that could be considered liberal...but i think that this kid should go down hard. Ive heard some arguments that he didnt ultimately do anything wrong, as no one was harmed, but I think that this situation should result in an incredibly harsh penalty...and im curious what those who are very pro-gun would think about this.
You're absolutely correct, and whoever argued he didn't do anything wrong needs to get their head checked...
Being pro-gun doesn't mean being pro-idiocy. You should never want to use a gun on another person. If you're carrying a gun for protection you make sure you're prepared for a situation where that becomes necessary but hope that situation never arises. He pulled a loaded gun on another kid when he was under no threat himself and used it to try and force the kid to give him his lunch money. I'd throw the book at him.

I'm sure some high school kids would scream at me, but I think you should be 18 to drive as well. 95% of 16 year olds don't have the common sense or maturity to handle a vehicle. How many of you can honestly say you didn't do some stupid sh*t in a car when you were 16 or 17? The average 16 year is mentally competent enough to be tried as an adult, and hold those responsibilities, but legally they aren't, so some 16 year old moron runs a red light, hits someone crossing the street and then their parents are responsible. It's a crock. If you're going to handle a car, boat, plane, gun, alcohol, cigarettes, anything that could easily be harmful to someone else, you should be 18, and legally responsible for your actions. Just my $0.02

I hate selling cars locally, last time I was home I saw my old integra driving around riced out to 20th power. Made me sad, I wish I hadn't seen it...
Honestly though, I still do stupid **** in a vehicle once in awhile, it's not like 16 year olds are the only ones.
