^ HAHAHA I hear ya on that, but we save drinking time for the dock fishing. Usually throwing stink bait for catfish, with great results. That's when we hook a bobber on the line between the bottom two lines and let the line slack out so we can see it gradually rise up if ole catty is strolling away with it.

Not a bad choice either, I can still remember watching Bill Dance when I was a kid. He used to say, " it doesn't matter what color worm you throw, as long as it's purple"...

Yes, that is a gun in my pocket and No, I am not happy to see you!
Here in Washington it would be a jig/chigger craw or sweet beaver in green pumpkin or blk/blu,or texas craw,PBJ..Dropshot for smallmouth..football heads with a GY 176 twin tail..And better have a 7-9" SwimBait rigged up...My goto would also be the jig and senko for LMB,and SMB dropshot with my handpoured smoke copper 4 1/2 worm
Small black Power worms,or Pumpkin Seed Power worms. My Dad gets 'em good on jigs, usually Black and blue with a pork frog on the back.
