Picked me up a new handgun. Although my personal favorite would be a Springfield XD/M, I got a deal that was just too good to pass up on a brand new, in box Glock model 23 (.40 cal), with three 13 round magazines.

I see a handgun shoot-off against a site mod in my future.

Yep, it's a .40 AND it's a mid-size.

And I've seen you shoot, that's why I told you to get the XD/M. You need ALL the rounds you can squeeze into a magazine!!!

Damn you both! You guys are making me want to obtain a pistol to keep in my ram when I reach 21. Seems to be a peace of mind thing, the city out here is starting to get a little rough......

Hammer, I have the G20C and it is my house gun. Originally had Clinton Mags (10 rounds), but updated to 15 rounds once the ban was lifted. Great gun, but my HK P2000 is more accurate,

Yep, I've got a few friends with Glocks, accurate, but not the be-all, end-all. I regularly shoot tighter with my 92F then their Glocks, but you can't beat a polymer gun for everyday carry. Plus the deal I got was really too good to pass up...

First day at the range with the new Glock. Loaded five rounds in the mag initially and shot from 10 yards (30 feet).
The low right hit was the first, yanked the gun right as I pulled the trigger rather than squeezing it softly. Second shot was the high left one as I overcompensated like an idiot. Next three were in the black!

First Glock and first .40 cal I've had. I'm thinkin' I'm gonna like carrying this one. Now to find a really nice conceal carry holster. I can carry open in Georgia and picked up a really nice Blackhawk Serpa 3 for it, but in Fla. I gotta carry concealed...

Bored yesterday, weather was shi**y. Played around with the Glock. One functionality upgrade - Grip extender, allowing for the use of Glock 22 mags. This increases capacity to 15 rounds of .40 cal.
