Default 93 Dodge Shadow Steering Wheel Help Needed

Hello everyone,
I didn't know where to post this because you don't have a section for my car.

We need to take the steering wheel apart and there are 2 screws holding the shroud or plastic cover on that we can't get to. We tried sockets and nut drivers and they won't work. I have spent hours searching for what the proper tool is. If we can't find it I'm afraid we are going to have to just break this piece off. We have a Haynes manual and it doesn't say what it is either. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

We bought a set of tools to remove safety screws but even with all the extenders we had, they would not reach so we broke the plastic off. It was the plastic case that wraps around the steering column. Fortunately the tools reached all the other screws and we fixed the steering wheel. Good thing it's a beater car.
