Default rim and tire upgrade

I have a 04 2500 ram QC. I really like the American Racing chamber wheels. If I go with 17x9, 4.5 backspacing, and 12mm offset, what tire should I run? 305-65-17 or stay with 285-70-17, which I have on my truck now. I don't have any lift and didn't plan on it.

You should be able to fit those 305's on there fine. I would get some of them because they will fill out your wheel wells nicely. But it is all up to you. 305's will burn more fuel but look nicer i think
