Default Removing Chrome from 2012 Ram 20" rims

Help. I really don't like chrome but it came with the package. I want to remove those plastic covers that have chrome on the rims and get them powdercoated flat black. Anyone here done this or know how to get the plastic off? Please show me how. I would greatly appreciate it!.

You can pry them off, but remember that the factory glued them on really good. I would see if your powder coater would do this removal. I have read about this being done and it running $125 a wheel for the chrome removal and powder coating. You might just want to buy black rims and sell the chrome stockers.

iI would recommend plasti dipping the wheels for now to make sure you like the look of a black wheel and to not ruin the expensive stock wheels.

I agree about plastidipping them first. And if you don't like the outcome, you can peel it off easily.
