Dodge has built a ton of fast machines over the years, but these are the fastest.

1. 2016 Challenger R/T Scat Pack

It may not be the fastest Dodge or even the fastest Challenger, but the R/T Scat Pack is undoubtedly fast.  0-60 comes in a mere 4.5 seconds, with the quarter-mile flashing by in only 12.4 seconds.  If you keep going, the R/T Scat Pack will reach a top speed of 175 miles per hour.  That speed comes courtesy of a 6.4-liter V8 that pumps out 495 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque.

2. Charger SRT

The SRT is a milder version of the insane Hellcat, but that doesn't mean it isn't fast in its own right.  The 485 horsepower 6.4-liters Hemi V8 will propel the Hellcat's little brother to a 4.2 second 0-60 time and a 12.6-second quarter mile.  Top speed is a formidable 178 miles per hour.  Not bad for a car that costs less than $50k.

3. Charger SRT Hellcat

The Hellcat is one of the wildest, outlandish, and fastest cars ever produced...period.  The performance bargain of the century with a base price just under $65k, you'll have to spend three times as much to find anything faster off the showroom floor.  707 horsepower is good enough to slingshot you to 60 mph in only 3.4 seconds, with the quarter-mile coming in 11.4 seconds.  If you are brave enough to keep going, the Hellcat's top speed is a lofty 204 miles per hour.

4. Challenger SRT Hellcat

Packing the same 707 hp/650 lb-ft of torque, supercharged Hemi as it's brother, the Charger Hellcat, the Challenger version is equally awesome.  The added weight over the Charger will slow you down a bit, with 0-60 taking 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 199 mph.  But that's still not exactly what we would call slow.

5. SRT Viper GTS

When Dodge decided to bring back the Viper, it did so with a more refined product than the original.  But thankfully that refinement didn't come at the expense of speed.  Armed with a 640 hp V10, the new Viper was capable of a 3.2 second sprint to 60 and an 11.5 second quarter mile.  Top speed was an impressive 206 miles per hour.

6. Viper SRT10 ACR

The Viper SRT10 ACR was built to be an absolute weapon at the race track, and Dodge certainly met that goal. Armed with 600 hp, the racing Viper was capable of a 3.4 second 0-60 time.  That's pretty impressive for a car that's designed to carve up corners.  After all, the ACR has a giant wing and aero capable of generating 1,000 pounds of downforce at 150 mph.

7. SRT Viper TA

The ultimate Viper, the SRT TA, is also the most elusive, with only 159 units produced.  It has the same 640 hp 8.4 liter V8 as the regular Viper, but a few tweaks knocked 1/10th of a second off it's 0-60 time - taking it down to 3.2 seconds.  The quarter mile is unchanged at 11.5 seconds, but improvements to the brakes and the handling make it faster in the twisties.
