Default P0108 stall until warms up

I have a 2004 3.5L police engine on my Intrepid and it works great. A week ago check engine light came on with P0108 code (MAP Sensor) and then next day it started stalling a little. Now it stalls badly until warms up. Weird thing is after warming up and working normal if I stop for 3 to 5 minutes it stalls again no matter that engine is warm.
I know now that more things can bring this code up and not just bad map sensor, but I don’t know where to start.

Any help greatly appreciated.

The map will cause the engine to stall, or even not start. You can disconnect the electric connector and run the engine, but you will have poor preformance (this is called limp home mode...if completely offline, the computer uses a default value). I have replaced two over the past 11 years on my 97. They seem to stick internaly after some use. You can visually see this if you have a ODB II scan tool that has real time monitoring capabilities. The sensor is less than $50, and takes less than a min. to change. Its located on the driver side of the intake manifold. Its a square/slight rectangularlooking box, about 1.5 inches with one electrical connector. You can unscrew it by hand.
