Default engine spuddering

Hey,
I got a 2004 Dodge SRT-4 and the other day i installed a K&N cold air intake and mopar BOV....ever since then when ever i hit full boost my engine seems to spudder and it feels as though im loosing power...also my check engine like starts to flash at the same time...the check engine light doesnt stay on... other then at full boost my car runs fine and acts normal.

The elbow that connects your intake to the turbo is collapsing. Very common problem w/ the K&N CAI. Go squeeze it and feel how weak it is. Now imagine the amount of vaccuum your turbo makes at full boost. See the issue? Replace the elbow with something more solid and you'll be good to go....

You could be experiencing spark blowout as well.... What psi are you running? What are your plugs gapped at?

Yeah, the .050 gapprinted on the sticker on the hood is too large for all but the most gentle drivers........I ran .042 with Champion Plats and got a better idle and acceleration.........
