Default Radio problem

Hi all,

Here's the situation;

About a week ago, I was driving home from work, radio is working fine. I stopped to pick up my son, and when I restarted the truck, there was no power to the radio, and I couldn't turn it on. Got home & shut the truck off thinking damn! I need a new radio[:@]. When I started it up the next morning the radio was working fine.

Yesterday morning, when I started the truck up...no radio again. Got home, shut the truck off. A few hrs later, I had to go out, started the truck and radio working fine again.

Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Truck telling you to stay at home....J/K
I had the same with my radio before I replaced it. I assume you have the 6-disc changer radio?

They all seem to go after 3 years...I'm on a couple more forums...they all have problems.
I upgraded to the NAV unit...they are much more reliable.
Had the dealer quote a repair...was almost 400$.

You can try eBay for another used one..

AK,
Had the same issues with my 04 SLT Hemi. Read the forum in the following link that I started several months ago.... http://www.dodgeforum.com/m_1285675/...tm.htm#1285675

Radio has been working fine ever since.

Good info. Thanks!

I've never had the issue with the display going weird, and since my original post it's been fine(go figure). If it does go south on me again, I'll give the connectors a try.
Thanks again.
