Default Cat Back Exhaust

What are people running for Cat Back Systems? I want something thats not going to be annoying in the truck or really loud. I just want some rumble and a nice tone. I was thinking of the Dynomax system from Summit. Any Ideas?

I'm running a custom cat-back with a Cherry-Bomb Vortex muffler. Sounds great, loud enough but not too loud and no loud rumbling (resonating) in the cab except for a minute or so when the truck has first been started and is idling. Went to a local exhaust shop, had him remove stock muffler and both stock resonators and install the muffler with a dual tip coming out in front of the passenger rear tire. All told cost me $150 and $35 of that was buying the tip.

One note about the location: it is absolutely impossible to keep the tip clean there

I have the Flowmaster Force II...its pretty good too...good loud roar when u get on the gas but at cruising you really hear nothing. Plus I gained some power and overall it was a good addition!!!

+2

I have the same one, I love it. Make sure to remove the first resonator if you have one, then maybe the Y-Pipe

I cut out all resonators and put a 40 series flowmaster.....

I had the 50 series on there, but it wasn't loud enough.... It's nice living a few miles from Summit's Megastore....

I have the Flowmaster 40 Series Muffler with the exhaust exiting right before the rear passenger tire! so yeah it brings out the V8 sound that it should have! and once i added the injen intake it made it sound so much better! I mean there isn't much at all for cab noise! it sounds pretty decent. My buddy is die hard ford fan and hates dakotas but he loves the way my truck sounds~!
