i would suggest not going cheap on your coilovers...when it comes to your suspension you want quality no matter what.
did you say you have a bouncy ride with lowering springs and you want a stiff ride? lol um let me guess you got yer lowering springs from ebay as well?
bottoming out means when there is a point where 1 or more of your tires drops so low (like when your tire goes into a pot hole) that you scrape the bottom of yer car

I love kicking cars ass that weigh 3x times less then our trucks!
With your ride and you bottoming out you need a nice set of eibach prokits and for the struts tokiko blues for a smooth ride and really awesome drop and so much cheaper than a set of coilovers.
i will tell u this from experience, i went with the ebay coilovers when i got my car... i wanted to go cheap and the car would handle ok with them but if u drive alot u will need with them i will list...
new back.
kidneys.
struts.
springs.
mounts.
control arm bushings.
when u say u want a stiffer ride trust me u dont... granted i think my car did handle quite abit better with the coil overs.. less body roll, but the part that really did suck is when i had to replace everything that i mentioned (minus the kidneys) i should of went with the setup that i have now, eibach sportlines, and kyb struts.... nicer ride and the car still handles well also...

alrite alrite i wont go with the ebay coilovers so i wont get slapped.
lol.
but i guess im going to go with some tokiko blues front and rear and just keep my springs cause i like them i just need some struts.
also im having a problem lately.my cars sometime moves harshly to the left and sometimes to the right.
then sometimes its perfect.
any ideas if thats a suspension thing ??
well im going to get it alligned first thing tomorrow morning so ill see after then if it just needed an alignment.
but peace.
thanks for the help.

Well I dont have them but I researched them and pulled up an AutoCAD file of them at work and can vouch for the fact that they are the same tube length as the OEM struts, so no worries there.
As far as your car dodging (no pun intended) to the left and the right, sounds to me like yes, its an alignment issue... possibly caused by the suspension, but when you get the alignment done you should be goof to go. If it keeps doing it after that, I would suspect a worn tie-rod or ball joint, or A-arm bushing, or something along those lines.
