Does anyone have a step-by-step guide to removing the front & rear door panels and/or how to replace the speakers in a 2008 Ram 1500 QC?
I'm wanting (BADLY) to upgrade my speakers (4 speaker system), but would like to know the process before I lay down any cash, so I know what I'm in for, and what, if any, special tools I may need to do the job right.

Order some speakers off of http://www.crutchfield.com/S-fRTOaNLDCl7/and you will get a wireing harness(free) so you don't have to cut wires, and an installation/removal guide(free) that tells you haw to remove the head unit, and all of the speakers, and they will tell you the tools you will need. Most speakers that go in the back doors will need a new hole drilled.

I just looked at the spot on the dash where the 3 speakers are supposed to be, and my truck dosnt' have any up there and there is no wires, or at least i couldn't feel them. So, i don;t know if you are planning on puting some up there too, make sure you have wires up there before you order 3.

RE: How to remove door panels/replace speakers?
Just a question jstmahoney, can you tell me if just by upgrading my speakers in my 07 will the sound be better and have some loudness to them? I was looking to do the same as Up_Boilermaker.
Aftermarket speakers are more efficient, made of better matierials and far more accurate than factory. As long as they arent too power demanding you will notice a fairly nice improvement over stock m8.
yup, what casper3380 said, and they do sound better, way better than the stock 4 speaker system. I have 3 way pioneers on the front and 4 ways in the back, and i got the stock 6 cd changer and ipod/xm interface off of ebay to replace my standard single cd player.
