a 215-40/17 will work but it might be a little wide, the best to use would be a 205-40/17

i have 215/40r17 on my 96 right now along with coilovers. they are a bit wide but they get the job done. the only time i ever have an issue is when im pulling corners around 55mph. then they rub a bit but nothin sway bars wont fix. if u dont want any issues the best is the 205s. they will clear just fine and wont stick out. but i tell u what, those 215s look b-e-a-utiful on a sqatted frame.

the problem with that is the srt4 rims are very narrow compared to most aftermarket rims, therefor a narrower tires is needed
