Default Assistance needed or just advice needed yet again

From the help that people emailed to me it helped me a good bit to fix the problem of the rollover valve. After installing the rollover valve successfully today the truck is running better but was still idling rough at times. A new check engine light came on and the code was 21. I understand that this has to do with the oxygen sensor. I also understand that there is one upstream and downstream. More than likely it will have to do with the one downstream. There is not one installed and here is the scenario.

Upon purchasing this truck I noticed that it had dual exhausts. This truck though has true dual exhausts. The problem that exists now is that there is not an oxygen sensor installed in either of the headers leading down to the pipes. So what is your suggestion to fix this problem?

Put in one oxygen sensor in one or the other tailpipes? Put in two? It did not originally have two so what now?

I am lost......

Personal recommendation would be to have an H pipe installed in your exhaust with an o2 sensor in it. Should give a good representation of both sides of the engine with only one sensor.

I agree, imo, there should be an H pipe anyway, but putting the O2 sensor there would clear up your computer's confusion

I followed your advice and the oxygen sensor code cleared right up. Now another problem has surfaced but I don t think it will be that bad, code 32 EGR system failure. I am going to put in a new egr valve. 80 dollar part from the parts house.
