Default sounding off....

I'm pssied, but it's nothing I, or any one else can do, but blame your local streats mainatnce divison in your your city.

With in five min of driving on the deer foot in calgary alberta canada, I had three strikes of rocks on my perfectly perfect windshield, not so perfect now.

A ford f-150, a dodge ram and a pos buick all kicked up rocks from mckinight blvd south to 17 ave south, This is after I pick my truck up from the body shop....

Ya, I know my rig is work truck, and stuff hapens and with the volume of gravel trucks traveling on the Deer Foot its gonna happen...

AS for glass coverage, its not worth the increase in insurance, life is like an egg, before it cracks, lol.

Now that thiers 3 cracks, Id bet its never going to be hit again....

I guess I'm lucky, here in Kentucky, it is state law that even if you only have liability insurance, they must repair or replace the windshield if it is in the drivers line of vision. here is no deductible and it has no effect on your rates.
Sorry to hear about that. I've been thru 3 windshields on my Mustang for the same reason.

I feel your pain, Mine got chipped from a dump truck I was behindwell back tooand it got me anyway. This was 2 weeks after I got my brand new truck. Now the chip is slowly progressing into a crack across the top of the windshield. It'll have to get worse before insurance will cover it. By then I'll need a new anyway from all the really tiny ones you get regardless.

this ugly biatch in an escalade passed me on the interstate in slow moving traffic on the shoulder...i guess she decided that her time was alot more important than mine and everyone elses....definately threw a rock through my winshield...i called the state trooper station and followed her until she was pulled over!
Her insurance paid for my winshield and she got a ticket...all for her being a dumbass! its like that here in Louisiana, if i had decided to go home, all i would have had to do is go to a glass shop and the insurance would replace it for free, no changes or increases

U guys are lucky, here in California, u need a new one, you fork over the $ yourself or it is considered "comprehensive" on your ins. and you pay a deductable. No rise in rates for comprehensive claims unless you have a bunch in one year. Everything costs more in the "great" state of California!

In Calgary Alberta, come winter time, gravel is the prefered chioce in traction, not salt, salt is uesd at 0 to -10 C , the city spens money dumping gravel in the winter, and money picking it up in the springand wahat ever is left over gets trapped the tire threads, hits winshields.
