Default Mystery Front End/Steering column noise

OK,

I love my new avenger (especially after tinting the windows, adding front Billet Grille, Side Fender Vents, Windows and Sun Roof Rain Shields, Front deflector and rear splash guards)... but I have had it to the dealer four times in four weeks of ownership trying to track down a very loud and noisy "clank/groan" that you can even feel in the steering wheel/column at low speeds (parking lot), turns and weight transfer during acceleration/braking. Lower control arm was not properly torqued from factory, but was not the source of the noise as it has returned.

Has ANYONE else noticed/resolved something similar. My dealership has been great about this and over most of the entire front end without success. It only seems to manifest after extended in town driving and disappears after cooling down overnight. we go back this next week to try again... I've driven it more and the noise is increasing... hopefully allowing the technicians to pinpoint it.

And BTW... anyone got a line on a cold air intake kit for these puppies yet?

Do you have the AWD R/T ?
The noise I got was like yours. Mine was do to the computer notfiguring outthe right ammount ofTQ transfer to send to the rear wheels. After a computer quick learn it has been perfect. Not saying that yours may be this, but it would not hurt if the dealergave yourcomputer aquick learn.

Thanks... mine is FWD, but I will see what the techs think about this possibility.

I have this same issue. I also have front suspension rattles over low speed bumps. The only other thing that I have is a rattling rear muffler. I plan on taking a look at this issue myself.

Too bad. I hate to hear so many little stupid annoying things happening to people.

There is a TSB on the plastic rubbing in the steering column. For the other noise, top of your P/S fluid. I had to fill mine to just above the full line to get that to go away. Mine has all kinds of noises since they rebuilt mytranny. Did they take the tranny out?
