Kratos Viper

Insane 3,300 HP Viper nicknamed ‘Kratos’ decimates all at FL2K21. It is crowned the Roll Race Champion and posts the fastest speed ever.

The Gen V Viper is capable of producing some insane power numbers. It is not unheard of to see one of these machines crank out over 2,000 horsepower. Think about that number for a moment. That is equivalent to two and a half Dodge Demons. But it seems that 2,000 horsepower is now old news. Introducing ‘Kratos’ the Viper that is capable of producing over 3,300 horsepower while still using the factory block. And if that raw power figure is not enough to impress you, the car can still be driven on the street in comfort. The a/c, power steering, and 18-speaker stereo system are all still in place.

This week’s “Wicked Wednesday” presented by Nitto features ‘Kratos’ which is likely the most powerful Viper in the world today. The car was built by the folks at Nth Moto and they know a thing or two about building quick Vipers. The car debuted at the FL2K21 event at Bradenton Motorsports Park. At that event it not only took home the Roll Race Championship. But it also put down the fastest speed ever recorded at a FL2K roll race event. After the racing action, Aaron Miller from Nth Moto sits down and talks about this impressive build. You can catch all the action in the video posted on the That Racing Channel YouTube channel.

Nth Moto and Three Vipers

The folks at Nth Moto brought three Gen V Vipers with them to FL2K21 for some roll racing competition. In addition to the ‘Kratos’ car two Nth Moto customers, Adam and Rich, brought their Vipers. Adam’s car pumps out about 2,000 horsepower and Rich’s car makes a smidge more at 2,200. Adam put up a top speed of 182 mph in competition. That is damn fast but unfortunately for Adam that run was against the insane 3,300 horsepower Viper that went even faster. It is hard to believe but these three street-drivable Vipers produce an astounding 7,500 combined horsepower. Perhaps even more impressive given all this power is that all the cars raced during the entire event without issue.

Introducing Kratos

Those into Greek mythology know that Kratos is the divine personification of strength. So, it makes a fitting name for what might be the strongest Viper in the world. A recent dyno run showed the car making over 3,300 horsepower. Nth Moto took the chains off a bit with this build. Previous builds made big power for sure but had more of a slant towards drivability on the street. For this build the team kept the car streetable but the focus was more on racetrack performance. With more power than any other Viper on the planet they seemed to have racetrack performance covered. The engine still uses the OEM Viper block and heads.

Dyno run

Kratos at FL2K21

Dyno numbers can be debated all day long. But performance on the track is what really matters at the end of the day. And at the end of the day the ‘Kratos’ Viper posted a 208-mph top speed in the roll race competition. That was not just fast enough to take home the prize as the Roll Race Champion in the Outlaw class. But it was the fastest top speed ever recorded at a FL2K roll race. To get that speed you have to be pulling hard and the incremental times show just how hard the car pulls. 60 – 130 mph took 2.36 seconds, and 100 – 150 mph took a mere 1.70 seconds. And those numbers are from the “slower” 203-mph run. Considering this was the first event for this car and it is already setting records makes you wonder just how much potential this car has down the road.

What is Next?

Miller states that it is possible for this car to make even more power. And while they may up the power figures even further that is not going to be the main focus. Right now, they are looking to see how they can make the car quicker and not necessarily add power. They also want to get the car involved in some drag racing and see what it can do in the quarter mile. Considering one of their other Viper builds can run a 6.8 in the quarter we have high expectations for ‘Kratos’ on the drag strip.
