Dodge Goes Big in New Ad Campaign for 2019 Ram Heavy Duty

Ram Will Tow That’ social media push uses humor and huge props to showcase 2019 Ram Heavy Duty’s towing capacity.

Ram teamed up with six advertisers during Super Bowl LII to hype the new 2019 Ram Heavy Duty truck and launch “Ram Will Tow That,” an interactive social media collaboration taking place on the Ram Twitter page.

For the unconventional, multi-brand ad campaign, Dodge flexed its muscles–and comedic chops–to let its fellow big advertisers know that the new Ram Heavy Duty truck lineup can help tow the products featured in their commercials. This included humongous Pringles potato chips, one massive Amazon package, an enormous bowl of guacamole, a colossal container of laundry detergent, and a gigantic bowl of mac and cheese.

“This is a very exciting time for our brand and we are thrilled to have teamed up with the Ram brand to bring to the social media audience a live joint activation,” said Ivonne Kinser, Avocados from Mexico’s Head of Digital. “I think that a key ingredient of our social success are these type of collaborations with brands that are as fun as ours, and that are managed by people that are as passionate about their products as we are about ours.”
