Ridiculous Lifted Dodge Challenger Build Proves Quite Capable at Off-Road Park

Lifted Dodge Challenger

Lifted Dodge Challenger hangs with a pair of trucks in some seriously deep mud and other treacherous conditions.

Throughout the course of automotive history, people have built some pretty crazy machines, and that list includes more than a few lifted, off-road-capable cars that were never intended to be driven in that manner. Whether we’re talking about Corvettes or vintage muscle cars, these kinds of creations seem to pop up on a regular basis, leaving us scratching our heads and wondering why anyone would do such a thing. But in the case of this lifted Dodge Challenger built by Dylan – purveyor of the YouTube Channel Build It With Boose – well, it’s far more capable than we would have ever imagined.

Armed with upgraded suspension components, massive tires, and a giant light bar, this lifted Dodge Challenger is certainly a head turner, in addition to a head scratcher. The modern muscle car was obviously not designed to blast through deep mud puddles and conquer big rocks, but with the right parts, it seems as if that’s precisely what Dodge intended from the get-go. That much is obvious when Dylan took his Frankenstein-like creation to Lone Star Off-Road Park in Grand Prairie, Texas, recently in what is a rather humorous experience.

One of the funnier moments – especially for Dodge fans – comes when Dylan’s buddy gets his F-150 – which is equipped with the FX4 Off-Road Package – stuck in the mud, to the point where it has to be rescued by a Chevy, humorously enough. After the pickup is free, the group moves on through the park, but an oil leak coming from the muscle car threatens to put an early end to the day, until our host discovers that it’s just typical rear main seal seepage – nothing major, at least.

The Challenger continues to impress throughout the day, only getting stuck once in the deep mud. It’s a true testament to how tough these cars really are, even if we highly doubt that a bunch of people are going to see this video and start hacking up their own cars to make them proper mud slingers.
