TUSK

In addition to TUSK, Ringbrothers will also be showing a 1961 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II, and a 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible.

Ringbrothers is a world-renowned custom car builder and parts manufacturer. If you have never seen their work before, you are truly missing out on something special. Every vehicle they build turns heads and stops traffic. At SEMA 2022, they finished first and second in the Battle of the Builders competition. Their 1948 Chevrolet Loadmaster took home the top prize, and a 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer took second. Now, for SEMA 2023 Ringbrothers are back with three more incredible builds including a 1969 Dodge Charger named ‘TUSK.’

We are obviously most excited to see the Dodge, but the Ringbrothers builds are so special, the Rolls-Royce and Ford Mustang will get plenty of love as well. Between the three cars, Ringbrothers has invested over 10,000 hours of build time. If you put in 40 hours of work a week yourself, it would take you nearly five years to complete these cars. It is an incredible effort, but the results are worth it.

TUSK

Ringbrothers build

TUSK is a 1969 Dodge Charger that got its name from the powerful animal that lends the 1,000-horsepower heart of this Charger its name. The entire car has been customized. There is theHellephant engine, a lengthened wheelbase, a custom cowl and firewall, extended rockers and fenders, plus a whole lot more. TUSK will be unveiled on Tuesday, October 31, at 11 a.m. in the Ringbrothers booth #23191.

We are excited to meet TUSK, but this is not the first time Ringbrothers built a custom 1969 Dodge Charger. In 2021 they built one called ‘CAPTIV.’ CAPTIV is the car that you see in all the pictures here outside of the main teaser pic. CAPTIV used a Hellcat crate engine mated to a Tremec T-56 6-Speed transmission.

The chassis was from Art Morrison, the exhaust was from Flowmaster, and the brakes were from Baer. The HRE wheels were wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. It is a stunning build, and we are not sure how TUSK can top it. But we know it will.

Ringbrothers

Ringbrothers is based in Spring Green, Wisconsin. It was formed by Jim and Mike Ring. They began playing around with cars before they were old enough to drive. Today their builds consistently win top awards. In addition to the first and second place finish at SEMA last year, they also won the Battle of the Builders top prize in 2019. Will TUSK take home another prize in 2023? The competition at SEMA is always tough, but we would never bet against a Ringbrothers build.
