Roadkill Nights brings a day of tire smoke, legal street racing, and tons of crazy builds, and it’s on the near Horizon! You’d best get tickets ASAP!

The legendary web-series-turned-TV-show Roadkill is a long-withstanding staple of many automotive enthusiasts’ viewing repertoire. As it should be! Who couldn’t love cult classics like the Blastphemi or the Ratsun? However, if you’ve never experienced the in-person showdown that the legends Mike Finnegan and David Freiburger host annually in Pontiac, Michigan, you should get yourself a ticket and make plans to be there!

Motortrend’s Roadkill Nights is setting up to be the biggest one yet this year. Fully legal street racing on Detroit’s famous Woodward Avenue is only the beginning of the festivities. There’s a host of awesome personalities in attendance, too. Best yet, though, is the fact that most of them are also bringing a project car. Let’s take a look at what one should expect to see at the seventh annual Roadkill Nights!

Roadkill Nights

Creator Clash of Automotive Ingenuity

Last year, Dodge provided a handful of social media personalities with vehicles to bring to the competition. These folks consisted of Tavarish, Westin Champlin, Alex Taylor, and the team at Throtl. In the end, Taylor took the win with her modified Challenger Hellcat. However, this year’s competition got even stiffer. The likes of Christina Roki, Demonology, Corruptt Builds, Collete Davis, and David Patterson from Thatdudeinblue are hopping in the water. So far, Patterson’s Hellcat Redeye-swapped Dodge Magnum is a fan favorite!

It isn’t just the social media stars that get to play, though. There’ll be a virtually endless supply of awesome street racing going down on Woodward all day long, courtesy of people from all walks of life. In classic “run what you brung” fashion, the Roadkill Nights drag strip brings a spectacle of just about any project car one could possibly imagine.

“If you’ve ever dreamed of watching street-legal drag racing down Woodward Avenue, come to our event! It’s going to be an absolutely epic day and night. Going strong for seven years, the event has something for everyone. Whether you’re a drag racer, car enthusiast, or just looking for a fun day to spend with family, Roadkill Nights promises a dynamic experience,” said Eric Schwab, MotorTrend’s Group SVP, Head of Revenue and Partnerships.
