Not too long ago I had the opportunity to check out my first Roadkill Nights event in Pontiac, Michigan. Needless to say, it was a freaking blast!
The M1 Concourse track where the event was held is now empty, the rubber marks on the iconic Woodward Avenue have washed away, the music has ceased to play, and the smell of clutch and burnt rubber that various Dodge Hellcats and Vipers graced the air with has blown away. Take a little peek at the action that goes in at one of these events. There are live rock bands, drag racing for cash, and of course, a huge burnout circus put on by Dodge, where their most powerful beasts get to drift and do donuts non-stop for hours upon hours. Seriously, they have trailers full of tires so they can just swap them and keep going.
